NBA DFS Today - Target Memphis

From time to time, I want to write a short blog about my ventures in DFS. I have been actively playing since 2011, and have been lucky enough to attend a couple of larger nationwide tournaments.

Today, there is a wealth of information available to people of all skill sets, so setting yourself apart, is becoming more difficult, and some argue that the sharks, who can put in 20-30K per day, are the only ones who can make money.
I know it was a lot easier 5 years ago, when all the information needed to value players, were a lot harder to come by.

I now have a toddler, family- and work commitments, so that I do not have a lot of time to do research, but I still try and utilize the same resources that I have in a long time.

Hopefully writing about the process, will help me become better at DFS and consistently profitable (O:

Today's lineup on Fantasydraft:

There are a ton of value in Memphis today. They are all playing in a pace-up spot against Philadelphia and with both Tyreke Evans and Marc Gasol ruled out, their secondary players will have to step up and can be expected to see a ton of minutes.

Andrew Harrison/JaMychal Green - Both have filled in admirably and both have pretty good matchups individually as well. They will be asked to carry most of the workload and should be building blocks in your line up. Martin and Brooks are also worthy of a look, but have less upside.

Miami finds themselves in a similar position. They are shorthanded and playing against the Knicks, who have been terribly defensively.
James Johnson - He has been a beast lately and along with Kelly Olnyk and Bam, is one of the better values on the board. All three should be able to return value.

New Orleans may, once again, find themselves without the service of JaRue Holiday. If he is out, both Rondo and Anthony Davies become must plays. Ian Clark will garner some attention as well, as a salary cap relief option.

Go forth and conquer!
