Ciro arrived just two weeks after Antonella's birthday on February 26th.Somewhere in March the couple announced that they were expecting their third son to be born, in that case their son has entered the World slightly early, although i know they most have prepared everything just in case.

Lionel and Messi and his wife Antonella already has two other sons, Thiago (5 years old) and Mateo (2 years old) and now Ciro. Actually the name Ciro means 'Christiano' in Mandarian Chinese. Although Messi had said they decided on the name because of his family admiration for signer Horacio Demian 'Ciro' Pertusi.
I think this was the reason Lionel Messi was removed from Barcelona's squad to face Malaga, because today was the day he welcomed a new baby boy. Messi has enjoyed another standout season for Barca in 2017-2018 with 32 goals netted in just 41 appearances.

Antonella Roccuzzo was born in Argentina's third largest city of Rosairo, just like Lionel Messi. They have known each other since Antonella was 5 years old as her cousin, Lucas Scaglia was a childhood friend of Messi. So apparently they started been friends and probably fell in love since childhood, that's really awesome. Though it was in 2008 they went public with relationship. The Barcelona striker married Antonella at the plush City Centre Hotel and Casino in their hometown od Rosario in Argentina
