I have always been a sports fan. Definitely Colorado teams. I kinda got away from it the last couple of years. We went to the avalanche home opener last night. I forgot how much fun hockey is.
Colorado joined the NHL when we acquired the Quebec nordiques in 1994. I think we had a NHL team in the early 80s but I was like ten years old and didnt care.
This was Daves first NHL hockey game. I knew he would have fun. I knew we would both have fun. I wanted to say Thank you to @summertooth. You really made Dave's night. That was very cool. I can't think of an occasion when he was speechless, but you a accomplished that. Great job. No really you made his night.
So back to my hockey night. I was a Joe Sakic, Patrick Roy fan, so let's go AVS!!!!
First this was my first time riding the light rail, which we took to the game. No parking. Awesome
