Wayaffe and Claisse take sprintduathlon titles

Party for TriGT in the home race at Tournai. Emma Claisse, took the national title in front of the home crowd. The male race was fiercely fought among four competitors, Jonathan Wayaffe took the win, Jan Petralia reported from the hospital.

During the first run the lead pack of four was formed by Jan Petralia, Arnaud Dely, Jonathan Wayaffe and Emmanuel Lejeune. They took 15 seconds on a select group. The lead pack lost Jan after a crash in the first lap. "I tried to go solo, but slipped and crashed. Fearing for the EC LD next week I went to the hospital to get a check up," says Jan.

Tilman and Van Hemel managed to close the gap to the leaders, but Jonathan Wayaffe was unleashed. Arnaud Dely tried to cling on, but Jojo won the sprint. Lejeune took bronze.
