The lead pack lost Jan after a crash in the first lap. "I tried to go solo, but slipped and crashed. Fearing for the EC LD next week I went to the hospital to get a check up," says Jan.
Tilman and Van Hemel managed to close the gap to the leaders, but Jonathan Wayaffe was unleashed. Arnaud Dely tried to cling on, but Jojo won the sprint. Lejeune took bronze.
