When Ben Johnson won the 1988 Olympic 100m Gold Medal, he became famous for all the wrong reasons. It quickly became apparent that he had taken steroids and he was stripped of his gold medal.

Carl Lewis was promoted to gold medal, but apparently, scientists have revealed since that if all 8 finalists were to take the same drug test they have today, 7 of them would have failed.
