After winning everything and breaking almost every record there is in europe Dražen, often called "the basketball Mozart", came to NBA in 1989. He played five years in the association totaling for 290 NBA games. First two seasons he spent as part of the Portland Trail Blazers. After not playing much in Portland he was traded to New Jersey Nets during the '90-'91 season. As a member of Nets he showed why he was regarded as one of the best europeans that played the game. During his time at New Jersey he played 195 games averaging 19.5 points per game shooting an astonishing 43.7% from beyond the arc. Petrović died in car accident during the national team meet up in 1993. Leaving us wondering what could have been?
