Rossi Fans Almost Attack Marquez After MotoGP Argentina

The scuffle incident between Marc Marquez and Valentino Rossi in Argentina's MotoGP last weekend inevitably re-ignited the dispute between the two, as did the fans. Marca also reported that Marquez had almost attacked by two Rossi fans.
The incident occurred on Lap 21 in the 13th Circuit of the Termas de Rio Hondo Circuit, where Marquez attempted to overtake Rossi. Both were in contact, causing The Doctor to fall and only finish in 19th position. As a result, Marquez was sentenced to 30 seconds, otherwise finished in 18th position despite passing the finish line at position 5.
After the Argentine MotoGP race, Marquez accompanied Repsol Honda Team Manager, Alberto Puig, approached the garage Movistar Yamaha to apologize to Rossi. Marca also reported that some Popolo Giallo jumped over the track fence and was about to enter the pit lane when Marquez was in the Yamaha garage.
Even so, the security officers managed to prevent the fans who reportedly aggressive action to Marquez, although shouts and swears can still be heard accompanying the 25-year-old Spanish rider. Luckily, Marquez travel to the hotel where he was staying did not get any trouble.
Marquez and Rossi will meet again on track in MotoGP Austin, Texas, which will be held at Circuit of The Americas on 20-22 April. On Friday (20/4), all riders will attend the Safety Commission meeting to discuss a series of incidents that occurred in Argentina.
