Monaco increases uncertainty about Mbabé future

MADRID (Reuters) - Monaco have raised doubts about the future of their young striker, Kélian Mbabé, amid speculation that he could move to Paris Saint-Germain in a record deal during the summer transfer.

The French newspaper The Sun reported that Mbabi was out of the Monaco list to face Metz on Friday evening at the opening of the third round of the French league.

The 18-year-old was on the bench in Monaco's last 4-1 win over Dijon on Saturday, and this time he was eliminated from the list by Portuguese coach Leonardo Jardim.

According to press reports, Mbabi could move to St Germain for £ 163 million, and play alongside Brazilian Neymar, who became the world's most expensive player by joining the Paris team for 198 million pounds.

Monaco and Saint-Germain are expected to hold crucial talks on the deal next week in Monaco. Real Madrid has already expressed interest in the inclusion of Mbabi, but the £ 200,000 weekly salary proposed by Saint-Germain is likely to overtake the French side.

Mbeki's move to Paris Saint-Germain is expected to lead to the end of French league champion Julian Draksler. The latter has given up the services of midfielder Blaise Matudei to Juventus for 18.2 million pounds, while Spain's Jesi Rodriguez Loan to Stoke City.
