Hello Splinterlands Summoners and welcome to this week's community challenge!

This week, let's check out a card I have been using this season, the Luceheim Demon.

Artwork

I like the Luceheim Demon's artwork since it reminds me of one of my recent favorite anime character, Kaiju No. 8. Maybe some of us don't appreciate the art but I do since I also like to draw although I'm not good at it.

Strengths

The Luceheim Demon is a common card but at level 1 it already deals 3 ranged damage and has the Snipe ability. It also has a shield and decent health to make it last longer in battle. Starting at level 3 it will have the Cleanse ability and at max level it will gain Triage.

Rulesets

I have been using this card in Noxius Fumes ruleset. The Light team has great healer tanks like Imperial Knight and Uriel the Purifier. While they are beefy with hefty shields and high health coupled with their healing abilities, they are vulnerable to poison. The Luceheim Demon's Cleanse ability eliminates the poison from my tanks while it deals some decent damage.

Having one speed, I also use this in Reverse Speed ruleset where it wreck the enemy with 4 ranged damage (with General Sloan summoner). Of course, we can also use this in Ranged only rulesets.

Disadvantages

While it deals 3 ranged damage from the outset, sadly it only stays at 3 even at max level. Also, the speed will stay at 1 all throughout. Only the shield and health will be upgraded as you level him up.

Synergies

To maximize his damage potential, General Sloan is the preferred summoner but we can also use others like Quix the Devious. I usually use him with Imperial Knight or Uriel in the tank position. Other key cards for the rest of the team will be Adelaide Brightwing, Djinn Renova and Iziar.
