# Tournaments and Rentals - Splinter Stats Season 72 Report Card

@applekah

I took an interesting approach this season. I played in nearly all the tournaments I qualified for and rented heavily for the first 10 days of the season. On the 10th day I advanced into Gold League and then Diamond League. For the last few days of the season I took a back seat due to the burnout and just rented my cards out. Let's see how my stats are like.

67% win rate! That's fun :D I was rewarded in 14 out of 15 tournaments that I joined. That looks profitable.

150 DEC + 106.643 SPS = $13.44 in tournament revenue. Not bad! Considering that you can "stack" this on top of the daily quest rewards in Silver..

As expected, I spent a lot on rentals. 5019.793 DEC nett is a total expense of $7.69. This means that tournaments are still very profitable! I might do an in-depth analysis of the monetary rewards later this season so people can read the math behind why I do what I do.

⭐ SPS Report

Type⭐ Amount Claimed
Airdrop73.374
Staking Rewards22.195
NET SPS95.569

I withdrew from the Liquidity Pools to stake SPS just to qualify for tournaments. That explains the lower numbers. However, I still made 95.569 SPS from airdrops this season ($11.81).

Overall, this was a very profitable season. I fully believe that a mixture of tournaments + daily quests + rentals are the best way to make money in Splinterlands currently. My nett profit is tournament revenue ($13.44) + ranked rewards ($6.14) - rental expenses ($7.69) + SPS airdrops ($11.81). This means I made $23.70 this season. Fun! This game really does reward us for our time and attention. I have no doubt this will continue to snowball :)
