DJINN OSHANNUS - THE GOD OF THE SEAS

Slide6.jpg

Hello community, today I share a battle about the Djinn Oshannus card.

I especially like this card a lot, despite having a very big price drop due to the summoner Alric Stormbringer no longer being a starting card in the Splinterlands game

SKILLS DJINN OSHANNUS

Djinn Oshannus is a Legendary card, Edition Rewards that can be obtained by opening chests in daily quests and at the end of each season.

It is a magic attack card with good health and speed points, at the initial level it has the Void ability, which reduces magic damage, and in its evolution it gains Phase ability at level 2 in which magic monsters can fail attacks and at level 3 gains Forcefield ability in which monsters with 5 or more power only deal one damage to Djinn Oshannus.

Due to the negative effects of reducing its magic damage, Djinn Oshannus loses the prominence of being a powerful card, but it can be combined with buffed summoners that help increase its magic damage, and thus the negative effects are nullified.

In battles with a lot of mana available I like to use the summoner Delwyn Dragonscale, because it increases the magic damage of magic cards, and in that sense I chose Splinter Water with a combination of Magic and Melee attack cards.

Due to the negative effects to magic cards that the opponent can use, I choose to use magic cards with at least 2 damage, to avoid the negative effects being reduced to 1 damage and thus being useless against cards with Void ability.

So I chose Djinn Chwala as a tank due to having a lot of health points and Thorns skill, where I could take damage and still deal increased damage to Melee attacks.

For magic cards I chose Djinn Oshannus, Nerissa Tridawn and Magi of Chaos cards with at least 2 magic damage that could be increased by the summoner's buff if they don't suffer negative effects from the opponent's cards.

And to complete my team I chose Deeplurker with 3 Melee attack and Opportunity skill, a card that I really like to combine with Djinn Oshannus, and finally Sand Worm with 5 Melee attack and Sneak skill.

My opponent chose Splinter Earth with the Obsidian summoner with buffer +1 magic damage, which would make a battle full of magic cards.

The strategy of both was similar in terms of card abilities, but my cards had more attack power compared to the opponent's cards, despite the opponent having Mycelic Slipspawn with Taunt ability in which he would concentrate the initial attacks and Goblin Psychic with ability Tank Heal the battle could be a little balanced.

Starting the battle, in 4 attacks my monsters manage to destroy Mycelic Slipspawn, and in the second round they destroy the opponent's tank Venari Knifer passing Unicorn Mustang to occupy the front line, with Void skill it would reduce the damage of my magic attacks, and while Goblin Psychic was healing Unicorn Mustang the battle would take longer, so the importance of Deeplurker with Opportunity ability manages in the fourth round to eliminate Goblin Psychic and thus the combat was more accessible to eliminate Unicorn Mustang.

And that's what happens when you reach the fifth round, Deeplurker eliminates Unicorn Mustang and the battle ends in the sixth round with the elimination of the last monster of the opposing team, Regal Peryton.

I lost in the battle Djinn Chwala and Djinn Oshannus but they were of enormous importance to secure the remaining cards, allowing me to win the battle.
