Introduction

Another post in this series. Thank you for your support in the previous posts 😊

This series intends to determine if there are other aspects of cards that may contribute to increasing its value. Based on your feedback I can focus on more/other things – so feel free to tell me where you want me to go into further detail.
I include some analysis on where the cards fit in terms of strategy and a market analysis of the price of the card in previous months. Feel free to suggest what more do you want me to look into.
In this edition I will be looking at the Harvester.

Strategy

I will be focusing my analysis on the usefulness of this card in lower leagues (i.e. bronze to gold).
This card is not among the most important cards to get in the Earth splinter, but it does add some value for newer players. Let’s start with the best features: 5 mana cost, 2 damage, and 7 HP. The High HP makes this card a natural candidate for being the tank in the team; moreover, as it only costs 5 mana (not too high for a tank). Additionally, the 2 damage is not bad, giving the card not only the ability to tank but also to do some relevant damage.
I would say this card is most useful in low/medium mana battles, where each mana point counts.
I will add that this card has been somewhat overshadowed by the Hill Giant, in terms of being the tank in lower mana battles; but it still is able to do damage (with 2 speed), something you should not expect out of Hill Giant.
Overall, cheap card that adds a bit more flexibility to your roster.

Market Analysis

A very cheap card which allows a little extra flexibility to the Earth splinter.
Let’s look at the last 6 months.

Looking at the graph, the following can be concluded:

• in regular foil, not surprisingly this card follows the overall market downward trend. No resistance can be visible as of yet, although 0.3$ may end up being it in the next couple of weeks.
• in gold foil, also downward 😥. Here there is a resistance at 1.6$, which has now being reached again… lets see how it plays out…
