Hi guys, Krazorcen here for this week's challenge, I went for DEMENTED SHARK, because of the ruleset of the game, and how this monster stands out in the match.
LORE
Sharks are incredibly resilient in the wild of the Outer Ocean. Because of how recklessly and indiscriminately they throw themselves at prey, they are often marred and damaged by those they attack, who possess unseen (and often horrific) defenses. One of these creatures of prey that sharks continue to foolishly attack in the wild is called the edgefish, whose scales are sharp like blades of steel. Another is the genus Coelomomyces, a group of aquatic fungi creatures that when attacked, lay spores inside the brains of larger fish. Several weeks after the spores are laid, small, treelike fungus begins to grow from the sharks’ heads. This causes the sharks to completely lose control of themselves and fall into a perpetual blinding agony of rage. This is how the monsters known as Demented Sharks are born, and when they find their way into the inner sea of ΛZMΛRÉ, no Mer is safe.

| MANA | 6 | |
| ARMOR | 3 | |

| ABILITY | DETAILS | |

| INSPIRE | Gives all friendly Monsters +1 Melee attack |
| NAME | DETAILS | |
|---|---|---|
| MELEE MAYHEM | Melee attack Monsters can attack from any position. |
My plan in the game is to utilize the Melee Mayhem ruleset and use melee monsters. And to further enhance these melee monsters, I will be picking a monster with an Inspire ability. And also if possible, I will be getting an additional buff which will give +speed or +armor.
| NAME | POSITION | DETAILS |
|---|---|---|
| KENDAL FRENDUL | SUMMONER | I picked KENDAL FRENDUL because of his abilities +1 armor and +1 speed that will further boost my lineup. |
| TORRENT FIEND | 1 | I picked TORRENT FIEND and placed him in the first position because this monster is an expendable monster that I can afford to lose. |
| CRUEL SEHTROPOD | 2 | CRUEL SETHROPOD will be my main tank, he will be also an amazing monster along with DEMENTED SHARK, his raw damage of 3 will destroy the enemy monsters. |
| HARDY STONEFISH | 3 | I chose HARDY STONEFISH for the same reason as TORRENT FIEND he will be an expendable monster. However, due to the Inspire buff, he will become one of the good damage-dealing monsters. |
| DEEPLURKER | 4 | DEEPLURKER, the main damage dealer that will be able to kill the enemy monsters in a single turn. He will be able to kill any monster with less than 5HP and has no armor, it is the reason why I placed him in the fourth position because I need this monster alive. |
| DEMENTED SHARK | 4 | Lastly. I went for DEMENTED SHARK, because of his ability Inspire that will be boosting all of my melee monsters in the field. I placed him in the last position in case the enemy went for sneak monsters, he will be able to tank them and live. |
I have higher-level monsters and summoners, which will give me a tremendous advantage. And to be honest, I have no idea why the enemy chose his monsters and his their placements. Maybe he is expecting a heavy magic lineup monster and countered it with a death lineup with double sneak.
ROUND 1
In the starting round my DEMENTED SHARK ability Inspire stands out, my monster's raw damage was dramatically increased and destroyed 2 enemy monsters in the first round.
ROUND 2
The second and final round was similar to the previous round. My monsters killed the rest of his monsters because they have no armor or tanking ability.
The strategy is very effective. I won the game in the second round, and I was not expecting that to happen. My lineup is very solid, I maximized DEMENTED SHARK's ability Inspire and chose melee monsters alongside him. However, if the enemy went for MYLOR CROWLING or monsters with Thorn ability, it will be a different story and I will be changing things up.
I always use DEMENTED SHARK when possible. And this monster elevates in the rulesets Melee Mayhem, Super Sneak, and Equal Opportunity. Therefore, having him and using him in these rulesets is a must and will give you an advantage.
