Today I had the fire splinter for my daily quest, normally I am not the biggest fan of the fire splinter but will occasionally use them, although sometimes I hit the skip quest button to try something else.
Here is one of the battles I liked the most of the ones I fought today during my quest.
The ruleset said no armor and 22 mana.
I decided to use cerberus first because of his self heal. I put the giant roc second to because of reach and 2 melee; my magma troll only has 1 melee with his reach. I chose fire elemental next because of the blast ability. Serpentine spy was next because of the opportunity ability, I love it that he attacks the weakest opponent. I put the kobold miner last because he had more health than the serpentine spy.
My strategy worked pretty well, I got lucky that my opponent had a lot of lower health monsters so that blast tore them up.
