SPS Airdrop: Better than banking?

My own thoughts.

Just a few months ago, the game Splinterlands released a new in-game token called SPS or Splintershards. From there, the game has been giving away SPS to Splinterlands players that are atleast eligible for the airdrop. This airdrop will last for a year and from my own perception, this is a major something.

Basically, the amount of SPS that will be airdropped to each player depends on the total airdrop points. I will not be going deeper into the calculation details because I only wish to discuss my own experience and insight about this crazy stuff. I was just thinking that If i put some more money and buy either Dark Energy Crystals or Splinterlands Totems or card packs or even Splinterlands cards, etc., the airdrop points will basicaly increase, thus the amount of airdrop that I will receive each day will also increase. It's quite as simple as that.

Today, I only own Splinterlands cards that give me about 600 collection power, and 2850 Dark Energy Crystals. With this, I have about 3450 airdrop points - and everyday I get around 0.48 SPS. not very significant right? But I am aware that I can invest more to get more. As of today, SPS can be exchanged for around 0.61 USD. I know you get my point.

If you have that spare amount sitting on your bank or your wallet, maybe you want to try putting some into the game and start earning daily SPS airdrops :)
