Splinterlands Community Engagement: Tutorial star earning in Splinterlands

Tutorial: How to star earning in splinterlands

First of all create your account You can click here to star , Click on play or Log in them select register:

You can do it for free and star playing to test it, you will not earn anything until you buy the Spellbook, now you will star earning SPS and Glint as long as you win using rental cards or cards you own, each Ghost Card ( this are the free cards you started with) you use will reduce your rewards in a %, reducing it complete if you only use this cards, is better try to no use any of this card specially when you star to go high in ranges where you can earn more.

After buying the spellbook you will have 3000 credits that can be used to star rent cards, go for the cheap ones, there are incredible cheap cards at moment , look for the Chaos Legion rewards cards , there are even maxed out cards that go for 0.1 DEC or 0.157 Credits, so you can rent more than 19100 of this cards for 2 days each, this rent prices are incredible bad for the game, but new players can take advantage of it and star earning for several months just with the starting credits, you can use the normal Splinterlands market to rent or Peakmonsters.com that is more comfortable most of the times:

!

There is also https://monstermarket.io/ that have cashback, when you buy you spellbook you also make a hive account that you can use to login in this places or in any hive site, remember that you should rent as well a level up Summoner, the cheapest maxed out summoners are around 2.5 to 4.6 DEC, you can star with lower level card the first days so you get used to the game and also will be even more cheap, make sure to rent only Modern cards, you should star playing in Modern since you have to pay to play in Wild, you can click on the market to show it only modern cards:

If you want more cards to increases more your win rate you can go for the Chaos Legion Core set, this cards are not so cheap as the rewards ones but they are quite close, star renting a few cards maybe just 2 or 3 splinters(color) and some cards of each ones with some neutrals that can be used on any splinter(color), them if you consider necessary increases your rentals.

After you star winning your match you will earn SPS and Glint based on your range and you will increases the Ratio Based the amount of SPS you have staked , the SPS can be sold on Hive-Engine but it will be Staked by Default , Click on Unstake if you want to cash out:

It will unstake 25% each week , or keep it stake to increases your earning at first, you can also rent staked SPS is very cheap but for 7 days, make sure you rent the correct amount for your range, if your rank is too low you don´t need too much SPS , eventually you will have to use your SPS to keep renting when you run out of Credits, there is also a way to burn your SPS for DEC but it is a bad deal, you will earn a lot more just by selling in Hive-engine.com and as I told you before if you have buy the Spellbook you already have an account here, you just need to log in, on SPS click on Transfer:

On Hive-engine you can sell it for Swap.Hive and use it for what ever you want, like buy any token and withdraw it to an Exchanger like Binance or Airtm them send it to your bank account:

Or you can change to DEC and send it back to the game.

Now with Glint there are a lots of thinks you can do with it, you can also monetize it , like buying titles and selling them, buying chest for a small chance (0.1% on Ultimate chest and 10 times less on low quality chests) of the Jackpot that can be sell, you could also buy rewards cards unlocking and selling them but unlocking them cost, I do not recommend this option for new players. This are some options that can take a lot of time at the begging your earning will come mostly from the SPS your earn.

You can also earn SPS from Guild Brawls(you need to join a guild) or Tournaments, for some reason there are a lot of free to join tournaments.

There are plenty more ways of earning in splintelands like Rent, Land, Flip etc you could look for a tutorial of each way after you get used to the basics.
