hola everyone!, what's up?, hope your weeks full of luck, this week's theme for the battle challenge is dragon, so what I am gonna share is focus on GOLD DRAGON.

The Gold Dragon

Gold dragon is a legendary unit dragon included in beta edition. The picture above shows gold dragon's stats and ability, the dragon consume 7 mana when used it is quite high, however in low mana ruleset gold dragon is difficult to use. it is also has high health with 8 points with the flying abilty that makes it harder to be hitted the dragon is obviously good as a tank or second tank and with 3 speeds it makes this card even more attractive and has great potential.

Battle Rule set :

Naxious Fumes : All monsters start the battle poisoned.

Mana cap : 29

Summoner : All summoner available except water

Line Up

based on the naxious fumes ruleset I chose summoner delwyn dragonscale giving +1 magic attack and I use fire element because I have a poison neutralizing monster, scavo chemist which has the cleanse ability which removes all negative effects on the Monster in the first position on the friendly team. I think the opponent will choose fire element too because scavo chemist is the only cleanse card that can be used considering the river nymph in water element is not available but apparently the opponent chose to use the death element, with the summoner Thaddius -1 opponents monsters' health and magic.

I put djinn chwala in the first position because it has a lot of health followed sequentially by djinn aprentice, scavo chemist, gold dragon and naga assassin while the enemy chose carrion shade, cursed windeku, elven defender, silent sha-vi, riftwing and chaos agent, from the opponent's line up it's clear that he relies on his riftwing ability to defend, but it's less effective because he doesn't have enough attacks to kill my tank

FIRST ROUND

in the first round my monster managed to kill the opponent's carrion shade while my dead monster was naga assassin that was killed by silent sha-vi but the opponent's tank, cursed windeku received a lot damage that almost sent him to the grave. luckily my djinn cwhala attack missed and the summoner that my opponent chose was thaddius so magic damage can be reduced. but that's okay because my monster already has a high magic attack

SECOND ROUND

after poison damage was applied to all monsters, now there are 4 enemy monsters left and I have 3 monsters left. My opponent's cursed windeku is the first monster to die in this round, then followed by djinn aprentice due to the effects of poison, my djinn chwala is not affected by the poison effect because it has been protected by the cleanse effect obtained in the previous round

ROUND 3

because it has high speed my golden dragon can kill the enemy elven defender quickly and it makes the opponent's silent sha-vi come forward and give up my djinn chwala but then die because of the thorn effect of his attack on the djinn chwala, the enemy's riftwing gains 2 additional health due to the monster dead opponent and then 1 more health because finally my golden dragon died from poison. now my djinn chwala is free to attack and kill the remaining opponent monsters.

CARDS REVIEW

this card is very suitable for use in various ruleset situations, this card is very reliable in my opinion, one of the cards that deserves to be rented. I will use this card on high mana cap because because it is worth it with the high stats offered especially when used together with Delwyn Dragonscale, the chance of winning will be higher. I wouldn't use this monster in the case of low mana cap, because it would be a waste to use up a lot of mana for just one monster, so avoid it
