Antes de comenzar diría que son más de 5 canciones las que tengo. Tengo un Ipod Clásico con mas de 5.000 canciones de las cuales no creo haber escuchado 2.000 Entonces hagamos las cinco con sus respectivos enlaces de youtube:

Before I start I would say that I have more than 5 songs. I have a Classic Ipod with more than 5,000 songs of which I don't think I've heard 2,000 so let's do the five with their respective youtube links:

No recuerdo bien cuando fue la primera vez que escuché la joya de esta Banda Latina; creo que fué por allá a finales de la década de los noventas.
En ese entonces en la Ciudad de Guanare empezaba el boom de las emisoras en FM, solamente habían dos y recuerdo que la Emisora Universal 101.3 fm, colocaban esta canción. Todo un himno a la irreverencia, a ese clamor por igualdad social y sobretodo con esa dosis de rebeldía de la música de esos tiempos.
Aunque el significado de matador en mi país no es el de matón, sino el de una persona que es exitosa. Es una pieza obligatoria para entender la música latina de esos tiempos.

No puedo olvidar mi música folklórica con esta obra de Reynaldo Armas: "La Muerte del Rucio Moro" Esta versión me recuerda el año 2.009 cuando tenía la canción de tono en el celular y me recuerda también, el fallecimiento de mi papá un 9 de junio de 2.009, de allí rememorar dicho evento.
Es una pista que por lo ritmico de su estructura la pudimos utilizar para enseñar baile de joropo a los niños de mi tierra, cuando dí clases de Cultura.
Años después la aprendí y nunca pude cantarla, sin embargo es una de mis favoritas porque su tipo de joropo es un ritmo de San Rafael arreglado en Si menor. Un gran amigo Don Antonio Ostos quien toca el arpa y con quien en los últimos años he compartido tarimas y parrandas.
Es una pista que por lo ritmico de su estructura la pudimos utilizar para enseñar baile de joropo a los niños de mi tierra, cuando dí clases de Cultura.

I can't forget my folk music with this work by Reynaldo Armas "La Muerte del Rucio Moro" this version reminds me of the year 2.009 when I had the key song and it reminds me of my father's death on June 9th 2.009, so it reminds me of that event.

Este éxito clásico es más reciente pero es de notar que la canción "Mi querencia" es un himno de los llanos venezolanos y colombianos.
Soy testigo que esta canción es una de las favoritas en los eventos culturales de las Escuelas de mi país.
Fue compuesta por Simón Díaz (+) Y en tiempos de emigración y cuarentena nos recuerda el país: De lucha para quienes nos quedamos acá y creemos que podemos seguir viviendo aquí, y de Nostalgia y Remembranza para quienes están fuera y desean regresar a su patria, a su suelo y a su querencia.

Eran principios del año 2000, y por aquel entonces en el canal de televisión MTV colocaban videos musicales. Así fue como pude conocer a esta banda mundial: Daft Punk, con sus estridencias, sus arreglos y lo rinbombante de sus obras. Hoy en día este clásico lo escucho para poder hacer ejercicios físicos.

Esta canción es en ritmo ranchero, con aires de huapango (ritmos propios mexicanos) interpretado por toda una leyenda de la Música Latina: Luis Miguel. Es la interpretación, el sentimiento, el amor y el manejo vocal. Todo esto unido a un mensaje de separación de amor que conecta con quien lo escucha en idioma español. Creo que esto traspasa fronteras y barreras del idioma; puesto que la música es así, universal, única y humana. Una referencia de los recuerdos, de nuestras vidas, parte de nosotros y eso la hace un arte que trasciende.
This song is in ranchero rhythm, with airs of huapango (Mexican own rhythms) interpreted by a whole legend of Latin Music: Luis Miguel. It is the interpretation, the feeling, the love and the vocal handling. All this together with a message of separation of love that connects with the one who listens to it in Spanish language. I believe that this crosses borders and language barriers; since music is like that, universal, unique and human. A reference of the memories, of our lives, part of us and that makes it an art that transcends.
