[ENG/ESP] Day 5: Your Proudest Moment/Tu Momento de Orgullo
Alguna vez de Febrero de 2016, en mi ciudad natal, hicimos algo que podemos considerar es parte del inicio de la Cultura de Oratoria en Guanare. En aquel entonces pertenecí al Club de Oradores del Estado Portuguesa, practicábamos oratoria según el método de la Escuela Venezolana de Oratoria de Yael Jiménez Alvarado. Realizamos el Primer Encuentro Nacional de Oradores en el Salón Polivalente del UEP Fermín Toro de Guanare.
Contamos con la presencia de grandes oradores de Barinas, Valencia y Acarigua. No voy caer en explicaciones de como fue el evento que resumo estuvo muy bueno. Lo que si puedo decirles es que después de varios días de preparación, hablé sobre emprendimiento y a esa conferencia la nombré "Operación Hormiga" Fueron los cinco mejores minutos de mi vida, el hecho de contar con más de 100 personas como público y dijeran mi nombre fue algo muy gratificante.
¿Cómo era posible que aquel joven que algun a vez fue niño y que tuvo problemas para hablar hasta los seis años, pudiera presentarse como un novel orador? ¿Cómo fue posible que un hombre lleno de tanta timidez y miedo escénico pudo presentarse en un auditorio para que escucharán su temática? Lo único que tengo de respuesta para ello es aprender y hacer o aprender haciendo, pude hablar sobre mi acto de bachillerato, pude hablar también sobre otros títulos académicos y otras cosas que hoy en día fueron significantes pero entre muchos de mi logros, ese en específico fue mi momento de mayor orgullo.

Sometime in February 2016, in my hometown, we did something that we can consider part of the beginning of the Oratory Culture in Guanare. At that time I belonged to the Speakers Club of the Portuguese State, we practiced oratory according to the method of the Venezuelan School of Oratory of Yael Jiménez Alvarado. It was the best five minutes of my life, the fact that I had more than 100 people in the audience and they said my name was very rewarding.
How was it possible for that young man who was once a child and who had trouble speaking until he was six years old, to present himself as a novel speaker? How was it possible for a man full of so much shyness and stage fright to present himself to an audience so that they would listen to his subject? The only answer I have is to learn and do or learn by doing. I was able to talk about my high school act, I was able to talk about other academic titles and other things that today were significant but among many of my achievements, that specific one was my proudest moment.
