I'm trying to figure out why the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas is actually there. I don't think it was just another tourist attraction because the light on top is the brightest in the world, and can be seen from space. Plus, it's the 3rd largest pyramid in the world (348 feet tall vs. 456 feet for the Great Pyramid in Egypt. Another question: How did the builders know what the Sphinx looked like before it was defaced? The legends tell us the Great Sphinx is the depiction of a God named Ningishzidda, the son of the God Enki. In the legends, Enki created the Human race by using DNA from himself and from primitive creatures. It is thought that Ningishzidda was known to the Egyptians as Thoth. I'm going to try to determine the actual dimensions of the Luxor to see how they correspond to those of the Great Pyramid and to determine if the Luxor pyramid manifests any of the powers of the Great Pyramid as pertain to the Source Field (Cosmic Consciousness). Has anyone studied the history and purpose (other than a tourist destination) of the Luxor Hotel?
