Good news come from the SONM-testnet.
Mining Union, a cloud mining company, is first to adopt SONM-testnet for production-grade 6 GPUs rig. Resources of the rig were placed on the SONM market, then a private deal was settled within Mining Union and finally an industry standard Claymore miner was deployed on the purchased resources as a computational task.
This is an important step in the SONM adoption by the market. I will explain economics behind this in a separate post.
Next step would be to sell this same mining rig for a practical task, such as machine learning, which is something we currently work on. Stay tuned.
