Supreme Court ruling on same-sex marriage turns two

On June 26, 2015, the Supreme Court ruled 5-4 to legalize same-sex marriage in all 50 states, building on a 2013 case overturning the Defense of Marriage Act. Since then, Americans have overwhelmingly come to favor rather than oppose marriage between people of the same gender.
