Exact and Social Restrictions

If we discuss science then we will discuss the philosophy of science but here we will discuss about the dichotomy of science knowledge. When we discuss the dichotomy of science it will cross the question what is the dichotomy? Then what is the real example of the scientific dichotomy? Why dichotomy can happen? Since when did the dichotomy happen?

The dichotomy according to KBBI is the division of two opposing groups. One example of science dichotomy is science and social science. Dichotomy occurs due to differences in terms of reference, object observed, methodology, and epistimology. The emergence of a dichotomy leads to a problem of which science is better, which science makes a nation advance, and which science makes people prosper. [1]

According to Ignas Kleden science is divided into 3 based on the nature and type of science ie natural science, social sciences, and humanities. According to Yuyun S. Suriasumantri science is grouped into two namely the natural and social sciences. The author will discuss the dichotomy of science that is natural science and social sciences.

Natural science is the study of the empirical objects in the universe. Natural science studies various symptoms and events that have benefits for human life (Yuyun S, 1981: 7). This science is based on the views of society including exclusive science, difficult to learn, in some areas including favorite science, and one of the cool science . Not a few children who labeled science is considered special because it includes science that helps and simplify human life in the sense of the resulting product.

Social science is the study of man in all aspects of his life, his characteristic, his behavior, both individuals and together, in small and large scopes (Teacher Lecturer's Teams of Philosophy, 2007: 49). This science is more familiar knowledge of populist because the object they learn is human. This science scores many politicians, law, activists, psychologists, and historians. This science is also said to be humanizing and humanizing science.

Of the two sciences are many differences in terms of objects observed and discussed. When we peel based on philosophy, the two sciences are created from philosophy and the formation of such science to facilitate solve a problem. Differences in science are used for the tools of duping and exclusion of a science.

Science is used to simplify human life, from that context do not be mistaken that many scientists are utilized by the owners of capital to make the profit as much as possible without thinking about the interests of society. And This the science is also used as a slave by the political interests of one example of the manufacture of atomic bombs created by Albert Einstein who later regretted that the purpose of making the bomb is not for the benefit of the people. Perhaps many people think this science is a special science but from that special scientist just made a dairy cow by the owners of capital. Social science is also used as a deception by the sainstis in the form of products.

From these problems need the exchange of knowledge instead of being exclusive-an science that does not get any profit it causes a complex problem. At the university
itself we know the name department and hotel and prodi look once a science instead of focusing a science. If it becomes a science focus then complex problems can be solved but why is it still like this?

In this issue should we ask why we are students? Should we ask what is the role of the institution? Should we ask the rectorate and his staff where their role?
