Real Sociedad vs Real Madrid

Real Madrid have been given more problems as they suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Real Sociedad.
The game didn't take time to be opened up as Real Madrid were put behind in the third minute. Casamiro taking down Merino in the box with a clumsy challenge, and Real Sociedad are awarded an early penalty kick. Making no mistake in taking the penalty, Willian Jose sends the ball into the roof of the net and puts Real Sociedad in front.
In the 10th minute, Benzema gets a real chance to put his side level, after a cross falls nicely for him but the player fails to finish things off from six yards and volleys the ball wide.
Casemiro gets a good chance in the 38th minute with a corner, but sends his header over the bar after meeting the cross.
Just before half time, Vazquez mistimed a cross into the box and the ball ends up hitting the post before bouncing out. A close shave for Sociedad.
Real Sociedad hold on to their lead at the break, but just because of the lack of finishing on Madrid's end.
The second half starts with a number of chances from both sides. The scoreline still remains the same though.
Real Madrid get more problems, after a clumsy foul from Vazquez sees him get a second yellow card and sent off. Leaving an already losing Madrid to play with only 10 men.
Ramos almost takes away the deficit by 66 minutes. Vinicius Junior has his volley saved with the rebound falling for Ramos who is blocked, the attack ends with Ramos sending a header towards goal but unfortunately being denied by the keeper.
Real Sociedad go on to grab a cushion 7 minutes before time, Willian Jose's cross finding Ruben Pardo, who heads it past the keeper and into the corner of the net.
Real Madrid keep pushing forward in the final minute, but no joy. The game ends with Madrid suffering a 2-0 defeat.
Madrid remain in the fifth position still out of the top four, while Sociedad move up to the 12th spot.
With Barcelona moving 5 points from the top and 10 points above Madrid, this loss becomes a heavy blow to Madrid's League run.
