The urge to get out and sketch.

It was just my ordinary weekday juggling work, PhD, running an NGO, few freelance jobs and now also committing being a @sndbox incubator artist. Time management is vital for me to make sure every deadline would be complied.

For the past few months i was so occupied with few jobs and projects that only involve me in doing sketches and illustrations through digital mediums and it has been a while since im working with a pen and papers, let alone watercolours.

Its really true they said that when you are too much immersed in these digital canvas, it will effect also our conventional sketching where you will find it a lil bit awkward to start again.

Last week after finishing a meeting in the city center, ive decided to go for a sketching session alone. So i drop by at the Wilayah Mosque in Jalan Duta as I can also wait for my Asar prayer at the moque

Parked the car under a tree for a perfect spot and view of the mosque.

This drawing took me around 50 minutes to be done and i was actually went live on my instagram to sketch and get some feedback from my followers.

After finishing that drawing i thought i just wanted to go back home but when i saw the High Court building and i really felt like sketching it.
