Change agent

An organization can initiate a change through the help of a change agent. this agent could be from the inside the organization or from outside. An outside agent is usually a specialist who acts as a catalyst and content resource in helping the organization to diagonose problems and help formulate appoprate solutions.

According to BECKHARD, the role of a change agent is to facilitate the improvement of organization effectiveness and health through process interventions, development activities, and programs for organizations improvement.
