New Watches from LG show time in the Boot Process

Over the past few days, a large number of articles on two new models of smart watches from LG - Watch Style and Sport have appeared on the Internet. A lot has been said about their features, but here’s another nice feature that is unlikely to be noticeable in everyday use.

In the process of downloading, a new watch from LG shows the time over the rotating and flickering colored circles of the Android Wear boot animation. The animation lasts only a few seconds, it is unlikely that the reboot will take a long time (unless you catch the bootlap on your watch in some way) so that you can appreciate the beauty of this little function. However, if you always need to know the exact time, and it took the clock to reload, information about the hours and minutes will be available. Function invisible, but pleasant.

Android Wear 2.0 Dev Preview for Huawei Watch did not have this feature, maybe LG decided to make it exclusive for its new watch. However, it cannot be excluded that this feature will be implemented on all LG smart watches, which will receive an update of Android Wear 2.0, or in general on all gadgets with a new operating system on board. As soon as my Moto 360 2gen gets its update, I will try to share my operating experience, talk about the pros and cons of the clock, while not forgetting to mention the presence (or absence) of this small function.
