Is a group of plants in the Costaceae described as a genus in 1869. It is native to Queensland, Papuasia, and the Indonesian Province of Maluku. but this one a took it at the Park of the Exotic Tropical Flora. I love this kind of places, thanks to this reserves we can meet species from the most remote places on the planet but very close to our home. As I happened to me, I came across this exotic Malaysian flower here in Venezuela
