13 features that will give iPhones an edge over Android smartphones

Apple announced its next big software release -- iOS 12 — at the recently-concluded Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2018. Apple iOS powers company’s iPhone and iPad range. The all-new iOS 12 brings new features to improve performance and also enhance users' experience on iPhones and iPads. During the WWDC 2018 keynote, Apple mocked Google saying that while the current Android release has got an install base of just 6%, around 81% Apple devices run on version on iOS 11 (the current version of iOS). Google too showcased the next big software update for Android phones at its I/O 2018 developer conference. Dubbed Android P, it too offers a slew of new features and enhancements. Both iOS 12 and Android P aim to offer superior experience to users. Both have some features that are missing in the other OS.
