Hey everyone its @chahir99 , and today i'm gonna explain the relation between NEO and GAS.
NEO has a similarity with Ethereum, and it's using GAS , because in order to run the smart contract and applications on NEO you need GAS .
Here with this project however these are separated into two separate coins, and with Ethereum your its not .
But with NEO it's being paid with it's own currency GAS so people who hold NEO can earn GAS.
if you are a holder and you're holding NEO in the right places you can actually earn GAS and this very good because GAS is in it's own a crypto currency with a good price at the moment around half of the price of NEO.
So by holding NEO in its own wallet you will be earning GAS, and there is a website where you can calculate if you're holding let's say 100 NEO what is going to happen.
Per year you will be earning 11 GAS , and 11 at 60$ is 660$.
This is almost like an interest, so there are these coins that you can hold and for doing that your earning , because buy holding the coins for a long term, you are supporting the network, and you're helping the network to grow and the price to go up.
So you're being rewarded, there are quite a few coins that are doing this, and i'm going to be doing reviews on more of these, but it's definitely good to be holding NEO, mainly because the price of it will be going higher ,and because of the fact that you will be earning GAS.
In terms of holding NEO you can do it if you go to their official NEO website and you can download the wallet from there .
They have a wallet for Windows and Linux but also what you can do is you can buy it and hold it on the 2 exchanger (very risky to do so) : KuCoin and Binance.
With both of them luckily there will be awarding you GAS for holding NEO with them.
You can also hold it with the ledger (what i'm currently doing ) and you can connect to the right website where the official application for NEO ,and it basically does the connection.
