eRochefoucauld #5 | Diversity & Inclusion vs Justice & Equity: Of Typhon and Echidna

Main show starts at 6:55

In this episode of the eRochefoucauld podcast, Evan examines an aspect of the radical, yet popular, ideology found within the ostensibly 'left' portions of academia. The current form this has taken is a debate between the performative functions of diversity and inclusion, versus justice and equity - or rather, a debate amongst snakes. These words have become like totalitarian code words, representing a deep commitment to coddling and stunting the development of young students into upright, mature, and effective adults. The need to shift the paradigm and clarion call of the educator has perhaps never been greater. This is the beginning of an attempt at articulating a vision for fighting the hydra-like behavior of ideology.
