Top 5 things to do in Singapore as a tourist

Finally managed to write something for the real world (no more crypto!)

Recently I took my family to Singapore and truly enjoyed the lion city. Everything is so close, the most we paid for taxi ride is around $10 (Singapore Dollar).

1. It has to be a visit to the infinity pool at Marina Bay Sands Hotel. (I believe you need to be a hotel guest).

The view is amazing from the roof top pool.

2. Gardens by the Bay

Gardens by the bay have 2 main attractions (Flower Dome and Cloud Forest). It was interesting. I took quite a few nice pictures in the flower dome. Here is the bay view from the hotel room from Marina Bay Sands:

3. Sentosa Island

Sentosa is a Malay word meaning "peace and tranquility". Sentosa island is about 10 minutes taxi from CBD. And it has a Universal Studio theme park for kids and family, a water world and plus a few other attractions.

4. Singapore chilly crab at Chinatown

I found this place called "Chinatown Seafood" is quite popular and serves good range of Chinese food at reasonable price. You should try the chilly crab and streamed pork dumpling "Xiao Long Bao" (same stuff you can find in dintaifung).

5. Shopping at Orchard Road

If you enjoy shopping yourself, or think of a quick way to get rid of your partner temporarily for a day. Take her to Orchard road and give her your wallet. There is no contest between the good looking you(or me) vs. shopping at Orchard road. The Orchard wins every time with hands down. Well at least the food court price is very affordable.

6. This is bonus tip. Cable car to mount Faber.

After you visited Sentosa Island, you have the option to take the cable car back to mount Faber (the city side).
There is a nice bar at the top of the mount Faber. And VivoCity shopping mall is not too far as well.
