Every time one of these high profile shootings happen I subject myself to the video when available so I can know what the hell I'm talking about.
What's true is that Daunte Wright should still be alive today and that Kim Potter should probably serve prison time for involuntary manslaughter.
What's false is claiming that this was an intentional murder. It clearly wasn't. It was a negligent act.
But, seriously, the whole "squad" is devoted to more government involvement in our lives. Tlaib herself has spoken out for much stricter gun laws pertaining to private citizens.
Look, if you're an anarchist like me, ending state policing and incarceration is not only intellectually consistent but kinda a given. If you believe, not only in a government, but that it should be bigger and stronger, it's absurd to broadly advocate for no more policing or incarceration.
If you believe that there should be an entity which holds a monopoly over the legal use of physical force over legally disarmed victims, which is what government is and what the squad supporters, its most basic function is to keep the peace and remove the murderers and rapists from society.
