The cantente has not remained neither blind, nor deaf, nor mute, as one of its most popular subjects says and, contrarily, it has manifested itself requesting a better attention of the Colombian government to take care of the Venezuelan children as a way of helping a neighboring town that in the past has solidaryly assisted a large part of the Colombian people who left their country for Venezuela because of the violence that was lived in Colombian lands.
"Venezuela is a brother country and we must not forget that it opened the doors to many Colombians in times of crisis and great violence", said Shakira, adding "it is our human duty to help each other and give us moral support, we are the same flesh and the same blood".
Bravo Shaquira!, as a Venezuelan I thank you for your gesture of humanity and give absolute proof of your gift of good people, defender of Human Rights, as, in general, we are born as in these South American lands. In the same vein, as a defender of the Human Rights, Shakira took the opportunity to ask her government for a higher budget for education in her country.
