Series review: The end of the F***ing world

Hey guys this is a new section that I plan to write once in a while about the series that I love!

The end of the f *** ing world is a British series based on the graphic novel of Charles S. Forsman that after being taken to television and broadcast on Channel 4 (UK) and not having been valued, finally had success on the Netflix platform.

With a very very dark humor this series tells the story of James, a teenage psychopath with a plan: kill someone. And Alyssa, a rebellious teenager who wants to run away from home.

image

Alyssa wanting to meet someone different comes close to James and he is fine with that because it would be perfect, she was the perfect person to kill.

image

Alyssa without knowing the danger that runs with James, submerged in his world of rebellion and "hate the world" thinks that James is interesting and maybe that she could fall in love with him, so she kisses him and starting at that moment James starts following the idea of "forming a relationship", "going to dates" and those kinds of things that a normal couple would do.

But they are not a normal couple.

image

His journey begins on the day that Alyssa, tired of a verbally abusive stepfather and a submissive mother decides to escape and invites James to escape with her, he agrees, obviously, because going away with her would make it easier to take out his plan, murder her.

As we continue the episodes, we discover more about these two protagonists who give a lot to talk about, their pasts, their feelings and the reasons why they are the way they are.

These two controversial guys are slowly starts to make hundreds of mistakes together, one bigger than the other, to the point where the law is included in this story.

This new series comes to us with a really different story and never before seen, after so many repeated stories throughout so many years in Hollywood, finally comes one of the most original stories, with impeccable images, an incredible soundtrack, told intelligently and with this intrigue that catches us ...
