Right now we are seeing a unique situation occur, businesses can no longer treat employees like disposable tools, they are desperate for workers, the supply/demand system for labor has shifted. Employers need you more than you need them, demand what you want, ask for $50/hr, negotiate, interview future employers and tell THEM "unfortunately I don't think this is going to work out, thank you for your time" and walk out
