Finding The Right Path

The world is filled with lost souls roaming the earth trying to figure out who they are. They seek validation from the opinion of others through the means of social media. But most never end up doing what they are meant to do. You don’t have to be one of these people. You know the path you are supposed to follow. You know deep down where you need to go, even if it doesn’t make any sense.

Do you remember what your priorities are? Sometimes we forget because we are pulled by the expectation of others. It’s so easy to get caught up in living by someone else’s means that we forget what we truly stand for and what we are meant to do. Sometimes in order to get ourselves back, we have to distance ourselves from other people — date yourself. It’s sad to see that so many people are too busy dating other people that they never learn to date themselves or even be happy on their own. Sometimes time to yourself, is one of the greatest blessings you could ever have so that you may find your path.

If you don’t know your purpose or know which path to go… Choose the path of love and you’ll soon know.

You have the power each and everyday to decide to either have a bad day or have a good day. How? By choosing your attitude and not giving into the negative emotions. You truly don’t need to be doing as many things as you think you do. As my pastor used to tell me, “I will never sacrifice my tomorrow for today’s decisions”.

You’ve heard it time and time again - there is never enough hours in day. But how much of that day do we waste complaining and doing what we don’t want to do because we seek the validation of others rather than trusting our inner guidance? There is almost always enough time for the important things in life, we just have to choose where our priorities lie. So, what do you choose?

Trust your inner guidance. Trust God. Pray. Meditate. Ultimately, you know the path your supposed to take. It’s up to you to pursue it.
