Self Care Ideas

Let's be honest, our world is chaotic and often we run from one thing to the next. When do we actually slow down, breathe and soak in the wonder of our existence? For a long time, I thought that taking care of myself was selfish. That couldn't have been farther fro the truth. In fact, the kinder and compassionate I am to myself, it creates a new wellspring of compassion and love for others too.

So for those of you struggling to come up with self-care ideas, I've composed a list of my own ideas and ideas I've gotten from others.
I hope these help jump-start some self-love and time to be kind and nurturing to yourself:)

Watch the stars at night

Watch the clouds by day

Take a bubble bath (& read a book while you soak)

Journal

Create a new Pinterest Board

Forgive yourself (seriously though)

Write down what your strengths are

Make sticky notes of positive affirmations & stick them on your mirror

Create a travel board

Light a candle

Get a massage

Use essential oils

De-clutter your home

Organize Your closet

Go on a nature walk

Buy your favorite coffee or tea beverage

Buy a cute piece of jewelry

Call a close friend

Watch an episode of netflix

Dance to a song you love <3

Snuggle a pet

Write a gratitude's list

Write a list of your goals

Complete a project you've been procrastinating

Cook yourself a delicious healthy meal

Go for a drive with the windows down and music loud
