Ken Block driving the world's first electric rallycross vehicle

Ford Fiesta ST rallycross, or if you prefer Fiesta ERX, is the first car of this type in the world.

It boasts three electric motors, two in the front and one in the rear, which together generate a power of 603 hp and 1100 Nm. The vehicle easily accelerates to hundreds in 1.8 seconds and can accelerate to 240 km / h.

The Fiesta ERX was built by the Austrian company STARD, whose engineers have long been involved in motorsport.

Block had a lot of fun driving this electric monster.

Admittedly, he was doing quite well, but there were times when the power of the vehicle was unmanageable for him, as the Fiesta ERX has an electric drive, you will not find the clutch pedal and gear stick in it.

You cannot hear the characteristic whir of the engine, and the highest torque is available practically from scratch.

Block said it takes a while to get used to a drive where you don't have to take your hands off the wheel.
