There's Going a lot of Talking on Artificial Intiligence vs Human Intiligence.
Many people are scared that AI will replace them. Hundreds of jobs such as drivers, radiologists and cashiers are facing substitution with machines in the next 5 years. Who’s the next? To get a better idea what is coming we need a better understanding in which domains AI is stronger than humans and vice-versa.
AI are made by humans. Therefore, AI are from humans. It cannot work without humans. It does not have feelings of its own, cannot express its opinion, its creator could and would change its way of thinking.
As for an example if u program a computer for calculating things it would just go according to the formula it has been given and the answer is obtained but it doesn't try to find in another way.
Plus would humans create something that he knows it's intelligence would exceed his own?
1)Fabulous speed. While one doctor can make a diagnosis in ~10 minutes, AI system can make a million for the same time. 2)Operate 24/7. Computers don’t need vacations or sleep, they can work without stopping. Self-driving taxis can serve us at any time.
3)Less biased. In realms of Law and Medicine it’s particularly important to have as much data as possible. Because AI can be trained on millions and billions of examples, they have more information to make an important decision. 4)Accuracy, for the same reasons. Whether it is a house or stock price prediction, AI systems can do the job much more precise.
1)Energy efficient. ~25 watts for typical human brain vs ~2.000 watts for modern deep learning machine. 2)Universal. While consuming kilowatts of energy, this machine is usually designed for a few tasks. Humans usually learn how to manage hundreds of different skills during life.
3)Multi-tasking. Regular worker may have dozens of responsibilities, but to teach a computer even 1 task may take months.
4)Complex movements. Even the most advanced robots can hardly compete in mobility with 6 years old child. And this results we have after 60 years of research and development. And we already have billions of them. We don’t need to “invent” humans, we just need to give them proper education.
I have always heard my mother's saying that if you mug up knowledge your creativity dies because you end the concept there similarly computers are programmed and cannot be creative .
we can say that artificial intelligence never exceed human intelligence.However, our future is mostly about Artificial Intelligence and Human Intiligence.
