I see your point @timray, but I think it is exactly the reason why people would line up for this 'service': people don't want to work hard! Most people don't go to the gym because they like to work hard. When scientists invent a pill that get you a great body with the pain and the sweat, my bet is that gyms are going out of business. We want to do more of what we 'want to'. Not of what we 'have to'. Its great when the 2 things come together, but often they don't.
