The value of obedience

We read in the book of John 14: 15-16
15 If you love me, keep my commandments.
16 And I will pray to the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be with you forever:

Obedience is a very courageous and high principle in the person, those who practice the value of obedience will have many blessings and promises that will undoubtedly achieve their life for good in every way since obedience is a principle established by God.

In the whole Bible from the old testament to the new testament we are going to find this word because through obedience it was that the men of God obtained victories and it was through obedience that Jesus became man to come to die on a cross in order to give us salvation and it is through obedience that we have access to the kingdom of God.

The term obedience (originating in the Latin oboedientĭa), is related to the act of obeying (that is, respecting, abiding by and fulfilling the will of the authority or of the person in charge).
Obedience usually takes place based on obligations or prohibitions that involve the performance or omission of certain actions. The concept contemplates the subordination of the individual will to an authority figure, which can be both an individual and a group or a concept. There are those who, for example, fulfill obedience to God or to an ideology. Taken by: (https: // Authors: Julián Pérez Porto and María Merino. Published: 2009. Updated: 2012).

Obedience is a word that is indispensable in every family and institution to be able to carry out a relationship of harmony in all the obligations or responsibilities that are carried out. It is also very important in the relationship parents and children. In the book of proverbs 6:20 we can read: "My son, obey your father's commandment
and do not abandon your mother's teaching. "(| NIV | RVR95 RVR60).

He who attends to correction is on his way to life;
he who rejects it is lost.
Proverbs 10:17 (| NIV RVR95 RVR60)
These verses show us that obedience is a command of God and is accompanied by promises.

God as our creator and heavenly father demands obedience and respect from us. 1Kings 2: 3 tells us: "Fulfill the commands of the Lord your God; follow his paths and obey his decrees, commandments, laws and precepts, which are written in the law of Moses. Thus you will prosper in everything you do and everywhere you go". (| NIV RVR95 RVR60).
Jesus replied: "He who loves me will obey my word, and my Father will love him, and we will make our dwelling in him."
John 14:23 (| NIV | RVR95 RVR60).

When we obey God we are showing him honor, we are telling him that only He is our lord and creator sovereign and highest.
God is pleased to obey Him first and then the other authorities He has established including our parents.
Obedience brings us victory and many blessings, opens the doors to the impossible.

Let's practice obedience as an indispensable lifestyle to achieve our goals and dreams. Also, if we obey God and keep his word, the father will give us the comforter to be with us forever.
