Hello and welcome to my blog today.
Faith is believing God when you have seen nothing so that something can appear. Also faith is acting out the word base on scriptural convictions in order to commit God to perform. Faith for receiving is the scripturally approved behaviour of a christain believer when expecting God to deliver on his promises.
Factors that influence faith for receiving.
Adequate preparation (john 14:1-3). Your expectations should be aligned with the word of God (2 Chronicles 27:6, Amos 4:12, Genesis 2:5). Ask God what you are able to receive so that the blessings of God don't turn a burden. Your expectation to receive should be higher than your expectations.
Appreciation. The giver will keep giving and the receiver will keep receiving. Appreciation is with expectation to manifestation(Romans 4:20). To receive the big, you must acknowledge God for small (Matthew 14:19).
Three things you maut do to show that you appreciate God while awaiting the manifestation of his promises.
Believe that God cannot lie (Timothy 2:13).
Don't be offended in him.
Remind God of his good deeds in your life and the life of others in time past (I Samuel 17:37).
Patience. Only the patience can receive the promise (Hebrews 6:12). Give God time.
Faith is believing God for today and counting on him strongly to do all his promises (Daniel 10:1).
Learn how to wait on God (Hebrews 10:36).
Do not tell God to do something he will do later now. Some blessings are slow but when they come, they come big. He makes things beautiful in his time so don't rush me.
