Many Christians aren't taking the ressurection of Christ seriously, the reason isn't far fetch, the Easter period is centred on Christ suffering and death, starting with 40 days fasting, then to Christ suffering and betrayal, finally to the cross, then the glorious ressurection morning which is celebrated just in a day.
We Christian have forgot that the hope of our Christian faith lies in the ressurection of Christ not his death. The death of Christ on the cross is to show us the horrible part of our sins. How our transgressions have pissed off God, it's to make us turn away from our wicked ways. Christ is the Hope of Eternal Glory not the hope of death. We must see Christ as such.
He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’
Luke 24:6-7 | NIV
Claiming the power of ressurection in the place of prayer is also very important, what is to a Christian if all his Christ could do is to die the horrible death of a sinner. He wouldn't even dare call his name. The blessedness of calling the name of Christ is because we know he's ressurected and now at the right hand of the father.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

When we are praying as a Christian, we must put this at the back of our mind that He has the power over sins and death,
So now there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus
Christ has paid the price in full, we should walk up to this promises and claim it, act in it, live in it, pray in it, love it, it's our heritage, Christ, the Hope of Eternal Glory.
