Hello everyone,
Today, I would like to discuss a few things about the future of SBT.
SBT has come to an almost sudden halt with the interest of the giveaway. This has been an issue for SBT due to inactivity within the SBT community. The giveaway will still happen, but instead, SBT will only be given to streamers/battle posters who are looking to reward viewers/readers who watch their stream or read their posts. If you got in and held, we appreciate you, and will not let you down for the future of SBT!
The main reason for this change is a few of the upcoming changes with SBT. A more official roadmap has been defined. Below you will see the current plan for 2022 and the months to come. With somethings that may be achieved sooner rather than the current set target date.
With all the above information laid out we will be making some pretty big changes to SBT.
Many people had joined the giveaway and quickly sold the coins, that was expected. However, due to the upcoming changes of SBT we will have to cancel the giveaway to all people. Instead, we will focus on a different approach and exclusively offer SBT to streamers/frequent battle posters (daily/weekly/monthly) who are interested in sharing SBT with the community during their stream/posts. Let me know in the comments or on discord if you are interested and we will set something up.
The rules that applied during the giveaway of SBT will still apply but with different amounts. Each streamer will have 1 million SBT issued for their giveaways. Until 500m circulating supply has been hit. Then, the SBT amount will start cutting in half for the remaining amount set.
Don't worry about running out. Simply, reach out for more and let the SBT giveaway fun continue.
In order to receive the SBT for streaming, streamers will need to provide "proof of stream" in order to do be sponsored by SBT. Also, for posting you must share a link to your most recent post with multiple posts of the same "niche" type of battle post.
Posting amounts will vary. 1 million SBT will go to frequent daily battle posters. 500k to weekly posters and 250k to monthly battle posters. Each issuance will happen when needed, like streamers. For the time being all SBT will be sent manually. As there are things in process to make it easier to issue to HIVE users who win the SBT.

Allow for the 5,000 SBT to be won 5x times during one stream. 10,000 2x per stream. 25,000 to be won once per stream. Making the total given out during one stream 50,000 Again, this is just a suggestion and you do not need to follow these guidelines to receive the SBT.

Again, these are all recommendations that you can choose to follow if you fit these guidelines, not obligated. They are recommended because there will be limits on how much someone can be issued SBT. As long as you are using it and not abusing it SBT Official's team will not have a problem with SBT issuance. Thank you for your understanding.
There are channels within the Official Discord Channel to share these types of streams and posts. The server will improve over time. As more and more people decide to join and share recommendations.
You will even get a role for whichever you choose or have both if you do both.
Raffles

Hold 5,000 SBT- 1x per week.
Within the SBT Official Discord and will have to react to the raffle to enter to automatically have a chance towards winning Splinterland's NFTs (as well as other rewards) during our raffles.
There is a current discussion about creating a tier system for the larger holders of SBT. Still yet to be discovered about the full details but will later be announced.
(1st Auction April, 2nd 2022)
Auctions within the SBT server - 2x per month.
We are planning an auction system where SBT will be used inside of the Discord server for holders to bid on Splinterland's NFTs that are provided by the SBT team. Each Auction will be a different variation of 5 cards. Starting bids will be 500-1000 SBT per card. Right now, would be a good time to still be holding SBT. Who sold?

Remember if you want to take place in the raffles 20,000 SBT is needed. You can always test your luck with tournaments and challenges.
Tournaments -
The First Official SBT Tournament...
will take place within the first week of April. If you are interested, keep an eye open for the public event.
Prizes for the first official tournament
1st - 5th Place - 10,000 SBT
5-10th Place - 5,000 SBT
We are building specific NFT's that would be given to 1st place once whitelisting on WAX happens.
Below is a teaser of what the NFT's will look like. The only thing different will be that it will be exclusive to the winners battle and names and have a Gif of the battle on the back of the card. Currently, we are working on completing the back which will have a GIF of the battle. We will provide an update with a teaser of a complete version when it is finished.
Thoughts?
I wasn't sure about the border of the card. I decided to use the eyedrop tool to pick a color from each summoner and use that for the border color. Kind of made the whole card pop. What do you all think? Would this be an interesting concept for tournament prizes for coming in 1st for tournaments? I also, need to get whitelisted and finish up the backs before submission but wanted an opinion from SBT followers to see if this concept is good or if I should make a few changes. Please let me know what your thought are on the design and the concept before I submit the ideas to WAX for whitelisting.
On that note,
I could use 2 more battles. I was thinking of reaching out to fellow guild members for battles to use for the template design but also have this idea...
I would like for others to share their battle/post with their best fight.
