Save The Trees! The Old Dog aka @kus-knee's new contest addressing the root of the problem. This round the task was to find trees saved by building around it. What is so hurting was to see some trees were cut and hills disappeared in the name of developments. And then it relates to landslide and mudslide that caused loss of lives because of human greediness. But we are gratified as there are many among us that really love nature and will fight to save them. And so, here I am submitting my entries for @kus-knee's contest 'Getting to the root of the problem'. Thanks so much @kus-knee for this noble effort and a great initiative.
Here are some examples from me taken using Samsung Note 5 at Kuala Lumpur Malaysia:
The 100 years old ancient Rain Tree (Samania saman) was saved by building the parking area around the tree.
The Rain Tree is a majestic giant with unique gnarled limbs, look at that tiny Security Guard standing beside it
This one tree was saved by building the Staff Canteen around it
