Mitch McConnell to sell Trump on Merrick Garland for Supreme Court

Mitch McConnell today is said to have called President Donald Trump about replacing Justice John Kennedy with Obama nominee Merrick Garland. A source from inside the White House apparently over heard a phone call between the two. The source said they saw Trump "yelling" and taking "shots of diet coke" and "eating KFC" while on a conference call with McConnell. The source also said McConnell said "I feel as though we took this Democrat vs Republican thing to far. We need to meet them in the middle somewhere." Trump seemed ok with it, that is until Fox "News" host Sean Hannity came on the conference call and informed Trump that Obama nominated Garland first.
Calls made to Merrick Garland got no response. Justice Kennedy will stay at the Supreme Court until the end of July.
