Christmas music from Asia, probably HK or Malaysia, referencing Tokyo because a version of Christmas is celebrated in Japan.

The music is played as if it were a music box, with the plinking notes.

The playing is slightly more syncopated than a music box.

The song selection leans heavily toward pop music.

Highlights include "Do They Know It's Christmas", "Wonderful Christmas Time", "The Christmas Song", "Merry X'Mas in Summer", "Happy Christmas" (the John Lennon song).

There's also a nice Japanese hit called "Christmas Eve" by Tatsuro Yamashita.

Imagine hearing all those played like from a music box.

The real surprise for me was Merry X'Mas in Summer - I recognized it, but really didn't know the song. A version by Robbie Nevil was being played on new wave radio in the 80s, but it disappeared as quickly as it appeared. Turns out it was a big hit for a Japanese band, the Kuwata Band, in 1986.

I have two of these for sale
