Zero-K recently released on Steam.
Zero-K is a free open source RTS loosely based on Total Annihilation. It has over 100 units, a campaign (which supports coop), active online play (up to 16v16), ranked 1v1, and fast paced games.
I highly recommend it to any TA fans, or any RTS fans in general.
