Bowling for Soup is a memorable artist from the Pop Punk era. Bowling for Soup formed up in 1994 and worked closely with other Pop Punk musicians including SR-71 to lead the genre to new heights in the early 2000s. Bowling for Soup released the hits "Girl all the Bad Boys Want" and their smash hit "1985" which played on the Alternative Rock Radio stations for several years after it's early 2000s release.

I have waxed poetic about the magical Pop Punk era of the late 1990s and the early 2000s before and remember this band fondly. The world was different back then, and the Pop Punk music scene brought many into Punk and mainstream Alternative Rock before streaming was a thing. We would clammor into record stores, many of which were not corporately owned, and browse records for hours. Bands like bowling for Soup open d the door for many of the younger generation to discover Punk and Alternative Rock artists such as Rancid, bad Religion and Social Distortion.

As a Rising Star player, I am excited to see the progress of the game and want to know what comes next. I have been playing for a year straight, and witnessed the raves being established but want to see more awesome features come to light. I love the NFT cards, and would be excited to see more NFTs that could add to the gameplay.

NFTs have gotten a bad rap since the mainstream NFT market pumped and dumped in 2022. NFTs are well suited for gaming applications such as the functionality found in Rising Star. If I had to improve or change one thing about Rising Star, I would add more concert participation similar to raving in which players could use their NFTs to generate income. It's fun to stake NFTs as well, and this could help players generate more passive income in concert with record staking. What do you think? What would you change about the game?

Have a great Friday night πŸŒƒπŸŽΈπŸΎ
